Generally, we are interested in proven technologies and infrastructure that can make more efficient use of resources, lower the cost or improve performance of a process, and increase profitability with a resulting sustainable and clean process. Our focus is on early-stage opportunities where we can play an active role in the development of the company or project. We serve as an incubator for the Singapore Economic Development Board.
Over the last seven years, we have helped raise S$50 million for our portfolio companies from institutional investors, created 120 jobs in the cleantech sector and helped build over 130 MW of projects.
Asia Cleantech Capital is an early-stage investment firm established by Ron Mahabir in 2007 to focus on clean technology projects and companies in the Asia Pacific region. Specifically, we target investment in the areas of clean energy, sustainable transportation and energy efficiency.
We develop and participate in regional projects and companies that will become leaders in the creation, management and distribution of clean energy and sustainable resource use.
